This limited edition Johnnie Walker blend was aged for at least 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for one month in ex-rye casks. The first release in the Johnnie Walker Select Cask range is this expression which was blended using whiskies matured in first-fill American oak casks for at least 10 years, and then finished in ex-rye whiskey casks - which is very interesting indeed!
