E.H. Taylor Single Barrel Bourbon is one of many versions crafted by E.H. Taylor and still produced at the award-winning Buffalo Trace Distillery. This single-barrel bourbon was crafted from Mash Bill #1, like other great blends such as Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, and George T. Stagg. It is a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, which has a lower content of rye, than mash bill #2. This bourbon is rich with notes of lightly toasted oak, and prominent notes of dried figs. On the palate, you'll find sweet hints of butterscotch. The finish is warm with slight hints of tobacco and dark spices.
