Wyoming Whiskey Double Cask Bourbon

This whiskey gains its deep color and unique character from the casks in which it matures. Unlike most, this Double Cask whiskey is aged twice. It first spends five years in new charred oak barrels, qualifying it as a bourbon. Then, it undergoes a secondary aging in decades-old casks seasoned with Pedro Ximenez sherry. This final step adds a hint of sweetness, creating a smooth and intricately complex spirit that beautifully marries the boldness of bourbon with the richness of sherry.

• Color: Deep copper to rich mahogany
• Nose: Warm autumnal scents of dried apricot, mission fig, and dates
• Palate: Flavors of stewed prunes and black raisins, accented by candied orange peel, with underlying notes of vanilla buttercream and toffee
